Nouvel album de Miranda Lambert ! J’adore FOUR THE RECORD! Album incroyable.
Bon, je suis en accord avec certains, il y a des chansons, qui, malgré le fait qu’elles soient bonnes, peuvent aussi être qualifiées de “bruit” et il est possible qu’elles ne plaisent pas à tous… ceci constitue 4 chansons sur les 14… (“Fine Tune,” “Fastest Girl In Town,” “Safe” et “Baggage Claim”). Pour le restant… wow! J’adore! On y retrouve beaucoup d’émotions, de révolte (un peu quand même, c’est Miranda), et elle se la joue cool aussi! Des pièces comme “Mama’s Broken Heart,” “Dear Diamond”- avec Patty Loveless – “Same Old You,” “Easy Living,” “Over You,” Better in the Long Run”, vous ferons sourire, ou pleurer… C’est un album magnifique! Bonne écoute!!!!
New cd for Miranda Lambert! I adore FOUR THE RECORD. Incredible album. So, I must agree with Jessie and say that some songs, even if they’re good, could be qualified as “noise” and it’s not everyone who will like them, but that’s only 4 out of 14 songs (“Fine Tune,” “Fastest Girl In Town,” “Safe” and “Baggage Claim). For the rest…Wow, I love it! It shows emotion, the rebel side of Miranda and on some, she plays it cool. Songs like “Mama’s Broken Heart,” “Dear Diamond”- with Patty Loveless – “Same Old You,” “Easy Living,” “Over You,” Better in the Long Run” will either make you smile, or cry! It’s a wonderful album. Enjoy listening to it!
Nouveauté aussi, depuis quelques semaines déjà pour LeAnn Rimes. Par contre, la différence maintenant est que j’ai ces albums en main… Lady & Gentlemen est un album de reprises… un hommage à la musique country pour Rimes. C’est produit en partie par Vince Gill, Darrell Brown, LeAnn Rimes et quelques autres. On y retrouve bien sûr des classiques comme “Wasted Days and Wasted Nights”, “Only Mama That’ll Walk the Line”, “16 Tons”, “Help Me Make It Through the Night”, “Rose Colored Glasses”, “A Good Hearted Woman”, “He Stopped Loving Her Today”, Tonight The Bottle Let Me Down”, de même qu’une version refaite de “Blue” avec The Time Jumpers, une reprise très “soul” de “When I Call Your Name”, de Vince Gill, “Swingin’” de John Anderson et la collection nous offre donc un généreux 14 pièces ! Personnellement, j’adore ! Beaucoup de gens ont pour but de salir LeAnn Rimes à cause de ce qui s’est passé dans sa vie privée (si vous ne savez pas… laissez faire) et elle continue de se battre pour sa musique. Bravo! Elle n’est jamais tombée, malgré tout ce que les gens ont dit et disent encore sur elle. Moi, j’aime la musique. Point final. Cet album me fait passer par toute une gamme d’émotions et je crois que LeAnn Rimes réussit à merveille ce projet! Ce sont bien sûr des chansons originalement interprétées par des hommes…
It’s already been a couple weeks since LeAnn Rimes released Lady & Gentlemen, but now, I actually have it in my hands… It’s a cover album, a tribute to country music from Rimes, in my opinion. It was partly produced by Vince Gill, Darrell Brown, Rimes and some others. We can listen to classics like “Wasted Days and Wasted Nights”, “Only Mama That’ll Walk the Line”, “16 Tons”, “Help Me Make It Through the Night”, “Rose Colored Glasses”, “A Good Hearted Woman”, “He Stopped Loving Her Today”, Tonight The Bottle Let Me Down”, alors with a remake version of “Blue”, her own song, with The Time Jumpers, a very soulful version of Gill’s “When I Call Your Name”, “Swingin’” from John Anderson; this collection offers 14 songs! For me, it just does it! I love it! A lot of people have been badmouthing LeAnn for what she’s done (if you don’t know, let it go) and she still fights for her music. Bravo! She has not fallen, no matter what people have said about her and are still saying. For me, it’s about the music. Period. This album makes me travel through my emotions and I think she did a great job at it. You’ll remember that these are all songs originally sung by men…
J’aimerais vous parler de quelques autres albums, mais je crois que je peux simplement vous recommander ces albums… Joey + Rory avec A FARMHOUSE CHRISTMAS. Brillant! J’ai toujours adoré ce duo. Si vous n’aimez pas leur style en partant, passez à autre chose… Pour ceux qui ont un faible pour eux, continuez votre lecture! Sur cet album, on y retrouve deux pièces de Noël classiques, une qui est devenue un classique et sur cette collection, “If We Make It Through December” est interprétée en duo avec son auteur, Merle Haggard! J’ai pleuré. On y retrouve beaucoup de trucs plus sérieux, écrit par Rory et d’autres, mais aussi quelques trucs rigolos, pour qu’on s’amuse!!! Il faut absolument entendre avant de juger !!! I’d like to talk to you about other albums, but maybe I’ll just recommend them. Joey+Rory’s A FARMHOUSE CHRISTMAS. Brilliant! I’ve always loved them. If you do not like their style, change paragraph. For those of you who actually love their style, keep reading. On this album, there’s two classic Christmas songs, one which has become a classic in country music and on this collection, “If We Make it Through December” is done as a duet with the man who wrote it, MERLE HAGGARD! I cried it’s so beautiful. Some other songs are more serious, written by Rory and others, but there’s also funny stuff, like only them know how to do!!! You have to listen before you judge! Je ne sais pas ce qui se passe cette année, mais je n’ai pas encore rencontré un album qui n’était pas bon… Ils le sont toujours à au moins 75% (bon, je veux dire). Mettons que le choix est vaste et j’espère que 2012 sera une aussi bonne année côté musique! C’est très impressionnant! Je ne sais même pas si je vais être capable de composer ma liste des meilleurs albums de l’année… Je crois que je vais devoir dépasser le 10…. et passer à 20….!!! et je ne vous ai pas encore parlé de Joe Nichols, qui sort aujourd’hui….(et qui est VRAIMENT EXTRA)!
It’s just crazy this year, I have not met an album that wasn’t good…all of them are at least 75% great. I hope 2012 is also a great year for music. It’s very impressive. I don’t know if I’ll be album to limit my “BEst of” list to 10 albums…might have to bring it up to 20…and I haven’t even talked to you about JOE NICHOLS’ cd which comes out today (AND IT IS GREAT)!
